Our ambitions

International travel saw a devastating decrease in numbers hit by the global surge of COVID-19. However, with plans to gradually lift international travel restrictions into Japan starting from June 2022, we hope that Japan will bustle once again with tourists from around the world. We established Photrip under the hope to further enhance the traveler experience in Japan, by encouraging tourists’ to visit hidden local spots in addition to mainstream tourist locations. We plan to expand our content towards global destinations in the future.

Hello Japan

We first want to familiarize vacationers with Japanese local spots in order to create an incentive for visiting Japan. We are also planning to introduce local spots outside of Japan in the near future.

Why Photrip was made?

We want more people to visit Japan. We also strongly believe that a visit to Japan would become even more memorable if travelers visited local spots in addition to mainstream travel locations. Photrip was made as an application to meet and visit yet to be known local destinations.
